Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma and graduation from a surgical technologist program.
• Certification within 1 year of hire from NBSTSA, NCCT, or AST.
• BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Less than 1 year of surgical technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon by providing basic instrumentation and sterile techniques in the Operating Room.
• Provide patient care in the clinical setting and maintain basic surgical equipment and instrumentation.
