Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited surgical technologist program or its equivalent.
• Employed at Luminis Health a minimum of two years, one year in surgical technologist position, or two years surgical technologist experience at another institution.
• Certification as American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
• Transport patients and specialty equipment safely.
• Provide patient care during the intra-operative phase of surgery.
• Function as a first scrub in various types of cases.
• Perform basic surgical skills and tasks as directed.
