Surgical Technologist II- DAY SHIFT- Operating Room

Join to apply for the Surgical Technologist II- DAY SHIFT- Operating Room role at Penn State Health.

Location: US:PA: Enola

Work Type: Full Time

FTE: 1.00

Shift: Day

Hours: 10:30a - 7:00p and on-call requirement

Salary: Sign-on bonus of $7,500 for those who qualify

Summary of Position: Responsible for providing a sterile patient care environment, setting up instrumentation for surgeries, anticipating the needs of the surgical team, and assisting during procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program with certification, or
  • Completion of a US military surgical technology training program, or
  • Previous employment practicing surgical technology at Penn State Health or another healthcare facility within the last two years.

AHA BLS certification required prior to orientation completion.
