Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist II to join the General Surgery team. Under supervision of the Nurse Manager, you will prepare sterile supplies and equipment, support the operating room team, and perform direct patient care tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, graduate from an accredited surgical technology program (or military program), and at least one year of CST experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or military program.
• At least one year of work experience as a CST.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Perform room duties involved with direct patient care.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and instrument flow as needed.
• Maintain supply restocking and front desk engagement as required.
