Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish in the Denver area is seeking a Surgical Technician II to support the operating room team. You will demonstrate aseptic technique, assist with procedures, prepare equipment and supplies, and pull/break down cases under RN oversight.

This role requires an accredited OR Technician program graduate, BLS certification, and 0–1 year of experience; strong communication and organization are essential. The hospital offers a robust benefits package and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC.
• Registration as a Surgical Tech by Colorado DORA.
• Graduation from an accredited program for Operating Room Technicians.
• Entry-level to one year of experience as a Surgery Technician.
• Knowledge of scrub role and responsibilities for multiple surgical specialties (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures in the department.
• Maintain aseptic technique and prepare required equipment and supplies.
• Pull cases as needed and break down cases after procedures.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
• Operate under supervision of the registered nurse.
