Mercy in Joplin, MO is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room. You will maintain accountability for surgical instruments, assist the surgical team, and help protect patient rights and confidentiality.

Minimum qualifications include a High-School Diploma or GED, BLS certification, English proficiency, and the ability to perform job functions with or without accommodations. Non-certified applicants may be considered with acceptable surgical technology experience.

Performs the primary function of a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. Maintains accountability for the provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team. Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Minimum Qualifications (LevelII):
Education: High-School Diploma or GED are required. You may be asked to provide proof of education.
Licensure: N on-certified applicants may be considered for this positionwithacceptablesurgical technologyexperience.
Experience: N non-certified applicants may be considered for this position with acceptable surgical technology experience.

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Other: Must understand English both written and spoken, must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.
