Northside Hospital seeks a Surgical Technologist to prepare instruments and equipment for procedures and support operating room staff, ensuring patient safety and quality of care.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and color vision as applicable. Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program with 1 year of experience is required; OR 3 years in an OR within the last 7 years is acceptable. CST/TS-C preferred.

The surgical technologist handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Helps to ensure patient safety and quality of care by performing various tasks and duties that provide technical assistance and support to medical/surgical staff and personnel during and in the turnover of surgical procedures. Specializes in multiple surgical services lines and potentially works with neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Three (3) years of full-time employment within the last seven (7) years in an Operating Room setting working as a Surgical Technologist.
