Job Details

• Hourly Rate: $19.56-$31.94, depending on experience.
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000, paid over 1 year.

Department Overview

Our facility has 7 operating rooms for orthopedic, sports medicine, endocrinology, and ENT cases located in the HealthPlex tower at Norman Regional Hospital. We emphasize professionalism, teamwork, autonomy, and critical thinking. New nurses and surgical technologists are oriented in each area, with opportunities to circulate in multiple service lines.

Qualifications

Education

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program, national certification, or five years of experience as a surgical tech.

Experience

• Five years of training/experience as a surgical tech or LPN with one year surgical tech preferred.
• National certification is highly preferred.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience are acceptable.

Licensure / Certification

• Current BLS certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Oklahoma LPN license required if applicable.

Schedule and Position

• Schedule: 7 am - 7 pm, Day shift.
• Position: Full-time, regular employment.
