Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• NBSTSA Certification required.
• American Heart Association Heartsaver required.
• One year of experience required.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians and nurses in surgery using sterile technique.
• Assemble, maintain and track surgical instruments and equipment.
• Inspect all packaged items to ensure integrity.
• Conduct pre-op, intra-op and post-op counts according to AORN standards.
• Maintain the surgical field and collaborate to promote patient safety.
