University of Iowa Health Care is hiring a Surgical Technologist for the North Liberty Campus. This role involves assisting in surgeries, patient care, and maintaining equipment. Ideal candidates will have surgical technology certification, direct patient care experience, and strong communication skills.
Qualified candidatesmay be eligible for a sign-on incentive of up to $5,000. Current UI employees are not eligible.
University of Iowa Health Care Department of Perioperative Services is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assists with surgical procedures; provision of therapeutic, preventive and emergency patient care duties; and preparation, operation and maintenance of routine and complex equipment, instruments and supplies. All duties are done under the direction of a registered professional nurse.
Duties to Include:
Percent of Time: 50%-100%
Schedule: 8, 10, and 12 hour rotating shifts between the hours of 0700-1930, primarily M-F, rotating on call, weekends and holidays.

Pay Differentials: Shift differentials for evening and night.
