Compensation & Schedule

Compensation range: $36.40 - $46.60 per hour. Pay will be based on applicable experience. Shift: PMs, shift length 8 hours. Days off: Variable. Hours per pay period: 80.

Position Summary

The Surgical Technologist I functions as a team member during the preoperative, intra-operative and postoperative phases of the surgical procedure.

Education / Training / Experience

• Minimum: One (1) year recent hospital experience in the capacity of a Surgical Technologist OR two years recent surgery center experience in the capacity of a Surgical Tech OR Graduate of an accredited Operation Room Technician course OR has successfully completed Enloe Medical Center’s hospital based Surgical Technologist Training Program OR a current Enloe employee who has applied and been accepted into the Surgical Tech Trainee Program.
• Desired: Membership in a national surgical technologist organization.

Licenses / Certifications

• Minimum: Current CPR recognition.
• Desired: Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
