Allegheny Health Network in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room before, during, and after surgical interventions, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.

• Performs sponge, needle, and instrument count.
• Cares for and utilizes resources to promote cost effective and efficient environment for patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Employment Requirements

• Surgical Technologist (ST) hired after 12/29/2020 require one of the following:
• Education and Certification: Accredited Surgical Technologist program completion and nationally recognized certification (CST, TS-C) within 6 months of hire.
• Military programs accepted.
• Pre-existing Employment: Employment as a surgical technologist by this facility before 12/29/2020, or at another facility within the two years prior to 12/29/2020.
• CPR – American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
