Surgical Technologist - Full or Part Time

Join to apply for the Surgical Technologist - Full or Part Time role at Fort HealthCare.

Fort HealthCare is a patient-centered hospital and healthcare system serving Jefferson, Dane, and Walworth Counties. We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our Perioperative Services team, either full time or part time.

Shift

Up to 80 hours per bi-weekly pay period. Full or part time. Day shift, 6:30-3:15 with call.

Responsibilities
  • Organize surgical activities efficiently and logically.
  • Maintain sterile fields during procedures.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgeon.
  • Follow safety standards for aseptic practice and equipment safety.
  • Assist with sterilization processes.
  • Participate in case and room turnover.
  • Manage supplies and resources effectively.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program; 1-2 years of experience preferred.
  • BLS certification; Certified Surgical Technologist certification within two years of hire.
