Northwell Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a full-time evening schedule at our operating room. The role supports perioperative nursing care as the scrub nurse for diverse patient groups, from neonates to geriatrics, aligning with hospital policies and patient care goals.
Qualified candidates will have CST certification, at least one year of OR or medical-surgical experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Assumes responsibility and accountability for functioning as the scrub nurse in assisting with the nursing care activities and surgical services provided to a specific group of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Hospital Administration. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served on the nursing unit or by patient care department.
