Job summary

Community Surgery Center of Glendale is hiring a Surgical Technologist to support fluoroscopy imaging during surgical procedures. The role involves working under the surgeon and fluoroscopy provider, operating C-Arms and Mini C-Arms to produce high-quality images and ensure equipment and records are properly managed.

The position requires active California Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit, AMA-approved Radiology Technology training, CPR certification, and 2 years of C-Arms experience.

Qualifications

• Must have active California Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit.
• Graduate of an AMA approved program of Radiology Technology.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have two-year experience with C-Arms, mini C-Arms and surgical procedures.
• Ability to work in multi-task, high stress environment.
• Adhere to 4 10 hour shifts a week.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of the surgeon and fluoroscopy licensed medical provider, image patients during surgery using C-Arms and Mini C-Arms and enter patient information into the imaging system.
• Follow direction from surgeon/ fluoroscopy licensed medical provider to appropriately image patient.
• Maintain records and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
• Move imaging and protective equipment between operating rooms and storage locations independently.
• Ensure all persons in range of radiologic exposure are adequately protected.
• Respond to inquiries regarding imaging and patient status.
• Responsible for orderliness and stocking of x-ray areas.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
