Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join operating room teams in Wisconsin. The individual will assist surgeons, prepare sterile supplies, maintain sterile technique, and support patient safety through adherence to Universal Protocol and intraoperative documentation.

Responsibilities include assisting with gowns, gloves, instrument handling, counting sponges, and supporting anesthesia and circulator teams. BLS on hire; previous hospital OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Surgical Technologist program required.
• Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• BLS certification is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and open sterile supplies and equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout the procedure.
• Assist in gowning/gloving and instrument handling.
• Ensure Universal Protocol and Time-Out procedures.
• Record accurate intraoperative documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to call-ins.
