Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified surgical tech program or equivalent OR technician experience.
• Two years scrub experience in the OR.
• Certification as STFA within a reasonable time.
• Current American Heart CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon with exposure, hemostasis, closure and intraoperative tasks to help ensure safe operations.
• Perform preoperative and postoperative duties to facilitate proper patient care.

Education

Graduate of a certified surgical tech program

Graduate of a SA Certificate/Degree Program approved by ABSA/NDAA/NBSTA
