Job description

Work Schedule:

Part-time, 90% FTE day/night shift. Monday - Friday between the hours of 6:40am - 3:10pm, with one shift a week from 9:40am - 6:10pm. This position includes weekday/weekend/on-call differentials, as well as holiday triage and holiday call responsibilities. Hours may vary based on departmental needs.

Pay:

  • A competitive starting pay, with relevant work experience considered.
  • External candidates may be eligible for up to a $9,000 sign-on bonus for day shifts (pro-rated based on FTE).
  • Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants.

Additional compensation components include:

  • Evening and night shift differential
  • On-call pay
  • Weekend differential

We are seeking a Surgical Tech to:

  • Work in our fast-paced environment to prepare the Operating Room prior to surgery.
  • Collaborate with world-renowned surgeons within our Level 1 Trauma Center.
  • Prepare for and assist with complex surgical procedures.
  • Anticipate the needs of and support surgeons during surgeries.

Education:

Minimum - Completion of a Surgical Technologist program or two years of Surgical Technologist experience in lieu of formal education.

Work Experience:

Preferred - Completion of a Surgical Technologist program and at least one year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Basic Life Support/CPR within six months of hire.

Preferred - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
