Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center is seeking an Endoscopy Certified Surgical Tech for a day shift in Tulsa, OK. The role supports operating room teams with sterile technique and instrument handling, ensuring patient safety and smooth case flow.

You will collaborate with surgeons and staff, manage equipment needs, and participate in room turnovers and pre/postoperative care as required. Qualified candidates meet program and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduates from an accredited surgical technology program.
• NBSTSA or NCCT Certified Surgical Technologist.
• High School diploma or GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of sterile technique, sterilization procedures, principles of surgical procedures, anatomy and physiology, use and care of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist the surgical team in accomplishing the plan of surgical care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Understand the surgery schedule workflow and be available to meet needs for room turnovers, patient transport, and cleaning.
