Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Surgical Technology, including sterile technique, instrumentation, and equipment handling.
• Experience in an Operating Room environment with workflow, safety protocols, and perioperative practices.
• Skills in Surgical Assist, including passing instruments and supporting procedural efficiency.
• Current CST certification and compliance with state licensure requirements, if applicable.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and position patients or equipment safely.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills focused on patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up operating rooms and surgical trays for procedures.
• Pass instruments and supplies during surgeries to assist the team.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist with patient positioning and draping.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and workflow efficiency.
• Support high-quality patient outcomes within the operating room.
