Job summary

Providence Swedish, based in Seattle, seeks a Surgical Technologist to assemble instrumentation, equipment and supplies for operative procedures. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse and alongside the surgeon and anesthesia team to ensure patient safety and efficient care.

Qualifications

• Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or documentation of equivalent training.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the surgical procedure by assembling instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Work as a member of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse, with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical staff to provide patient care.
• Support the surgical team to deliver care in alignment with mission, vision and values of Providence Swedish Surgical Services.
