HSHS in Springfield, IL is seeking a Surgical Technologist for dedicated on-call coverage in the Surgery department. You will prepare and monitor equipment, pass instruments, maintain the sterile field, and assist with patient transfer and positioning during intraoperative care, working with minimal supervision.
This full-time role offers a pay range of $26.80-$40.20 per hour and a $20,000 sign-on bonus. The candidate should have an Associate degree preferred, CST certification preferred, and

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
The Surgical Technologist-Dedicated Call is specifically responsible for coverage of on‑call procedures during weekday and/or weekend hours, which may include holidays, within their designated department. Assists surgical team members in providing intraoperative care to the perioperative patient by preparing and monitoring equipment, passing instruments, maintaining the sterile field, assisting with patient transfer/positioning and performing a variety of surgical skills and procedures. Due to the nature of the role, practices autonomously and with minimal supervision. This team takes first call in the main OR for both General and Ortho.
