Job summary

MercyOne Health System is seeking a Surgical Technician (CST) to join the Operating Room team in Iowa. The role covers scrub duties in intraoperative patient care under the supervision of a perioperative RN.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, CST certification preferred, BLS, and ability to work under pressure with independence. Sign-on bonus offered and opportunities for growth within the system.

Responsibilities

• Function as scrub role during intraoperative patient care under the direct supervision of the perioperative RN.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic techniques in the operating room.
• Adhere to hospital standards and support the hospital philosophies.
