Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Surgical Technologist certification preferred, with OR experience.
• BLS certification mandatory.
• Ability to read, write, speak English and perform essential functions safely.
• Experience in surgical technology or operating rooms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain instruments; assist surgeons; ensure sterile technique; manage patient care.
• Collaborate with surgical team; anticipate needs; communicate proactively.
• Prepare operating rooms; handle supplies; ensure equipment is ready and functional.
• Address emergencies; troubleshoot equipment; maintain patient confidentiality and rights.
• Participate in room turnover and support team workload flexibility.
