Job Overview

We are currently offering a sign-on bonus for eligible full-time Surgical Technologist positions, with amounts varying based on experience and commitment length:

  • 0-1 Years of Experience: $10,000 for 2-year commitment; $12,000 for 3-year commitment
  • 1-2 Years of Experience: $10,000 for 2-year commitment; $17,000 for 3-year commitment
  • 2+ Years of Experience: $15,000 for 2-year commitment; $25,000 for 3-year commitment

The role involves performing technical tasks for patients before, during, and after surgery, including assisting in setting up the operating room, maintaining inventory, and supporting surgical procedures.

Essential Responsibilities
  1. Initiate changes to physician preference list and inform team members. (25%)
  2. Maintain inventory for the assigned service area. (20%)
  3. Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts. (15%)
  4. Orient new team members and supervise lower-level technicians. (15%)
  5. Assist in setting up the surgical suite with instruments and supplies. (15%)
  6. Scrub in and hand instruments during surgery. (10%)
  7. Perform other duties as assigned. (5%)
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • Certificate from a college or technical school, or relevant experience/training, or equivalent education.
  • For those hired after 12/29/2020: completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program and certification within 6 months, or prior employment practicing surgical technology before or after this date.
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of surgical scrub experience.
