Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Birthplace unit is hiring a part-time Surgical Technologist/dual PCA position at 81 Highland Avenue. Under RN supervision, you assist in patient care and surgical activities in a fast-paced Birthplace, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualified candidates will have CNA/PCA or Medical Assisting experience, completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program and certification, and the ability to work with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited educational program for surgical technologists and be certified as a Surgical Technologist or meet alternative education requirements as stated.
• 1 year experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Must be able to work with diverse patient populations and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care and surgical activities in Birthplace under RN supervision.
• Support OR team with setup, sterile technique, and instrument handling during procedures.
