Job summary

Landmark Surgery Center is hiring a Full Time Surgical Technologist. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of a surgical technician program.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff, patients and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures under supervision by the Director of Nursing.
• Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment.
• Supports the center's philosophy, objectives and quality improvement activities.
• Collaborates with staff, physicians and patients as part of the surgical team.
