Role:

Surgical Technologist, assisting surgeons during procedures and ensuring sterile techniques.

Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms and instruments, assist with patient care, connect clinical equipment, maintain supply counts, handle specimens, and document procedures. Participate in surgical timeout, verify surgical sites, anticipate surgeon needs, and ensure room cleanup and restocking. Support wound assessment and dressing changes, assist in training new staff, and monitor patient reactions and conditions. Work collaboratively to coordinate treatment and maintain compliance with policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Active Surgical Technologist Certification or eligibility under Act 80 guidelines; prior experience preferred. Proficiency in aseptic techniques, attention to detail, teamwork, and adaptability are essential.
