University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center OR Team is seeking dedicated Surgical Technology professionals to join our team. A $5k sign-on bonus is offered for external candidates with 1+ years of experience and a $2,500 sign-on bonus for new grad techs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient age-specific nursing care to patients/families and assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
• Provide patient care/function in a primary scrub position.
• Assist with technical responsibilities in assigned operative procedures.
• Assure appropriate instruments/supplies are present and in proper working condition.
• Provide labeled medications with correct doses on the sterile field.
• Support the operative team, including following patient care hand-off protocol.
• Actively participate in the quality improvement process.
• Involved in learning and self-improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• Refer to department documentation during orientation.
• Must abide by requirements to safely and securely maintain PHI for patients.
