Position Summary: The Surgical Technician demonstrates basic knowledge and skills in the scrub role, assisting during surgical procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining aseptic technique, preparing equipment and supplies, passing instruments, and setting up operating rooms. Availability for call is required, and additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Onboarding Process: Candidates must complete a background check and pre-employment health screening, including a drug screen.

Qualifications: Graduate of a surgical technician program as required by state regulations or policy. Preferred: 1 year experience as a surgical technician.

Certifications: Required: BLS. Preferred: Surgical Technology Certification.
