Job summary

Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking an Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist (OR CST) for a permanent, full-time role in Terre Haute, Indiana. The position includes a 40-hour work week, day shift, and call obligations with Cerner charting in an acute care hospital setting.

An OR CST with Surgical Technology training, active CST and BLS, and willingness to participate in weekend and call rotations is required. A $10,500 sign-on bonus is included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program.
• Active CST certification (required).
• BLS certification (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for a variety of surgical procedures including general, OB/GYN, orthopedics, and urology.
• Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical cases.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments and supplies.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards.
• Assist with room turnover and restocking between cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and OR staff.
• Support an average of 30–35 cases per day across services.

Position Overview

• One evening shift per week
• One on-call shift per week
