Seacrest Behavioral Health is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the perioperative team under RN supervision, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety during intraoperative care. The role involves prepping the OR, handling instruments, maintaining asepsis, assisting with patient positioning, and performing scrub duties including training for students and residents.

This position offers a sign-on and relocation bonus.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or completed Surgical Technology program.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Clinical experience as a surgical technologist preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Apply aseptic principles to maintain a sterile environment.
• Demonstrate technical skills and judgment for surgical support.
• Provide age-specific care, particularly obstetrical care.
• Organize supplies and equipment for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain safety standards for patients, staff, and self.
• Handle equipment and supplies, including sterilization, disinfection, and repairs.
• Assist with patient positioning and prepping the operating room.
