Children’s Minnesota Minneapolis Hospital’s main operating room includes nine surgical suites and one procedure room. The center is the first and only in Minnesota verified as a Level I Children’s Surgery Center by the American College of Surgeons. It is a Level 1 designated Pediatric Trauma center and provides surgical care for children from fetuses and infants through young adults.
The Surgical Technologist is an integral member of the patient‑care team, providing skilled intra‑operative technical expertise and care for the surgical patient. The role includes assisting the surgeon, setting up and scrubbing all surgical procedures, and may involve specialization in a specific field such as cardiac or neurological surgery, or laser specialization.
The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in local or national markets. In addition to salary, the position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend, or on‑call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
