Overview

Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist . A Surgical Technologist is a critical member of the surgical team who assists during operative procedures by preparing the operating room, sterilizing instruments, and providing direct assistance to surgeons and nurses. This role requires a strong understanding of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient safety protocols.

Education

Trade school or equivalent - Surgical Technologist (Required)

Certification/Licensure

Virginia license - Surgical Technologist (Required)

Experience

Operating room experience (preferred)

Will consider new graduate candidates in pursuit of licensure

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $30.26 - $44.75 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
