The Labor & Delivery unit at North Colorado Medical Center is a busy 10-bed unit providing a personalized birthing experience to each of our mothers. As a Labor and Delivery Surgical Technologist, you will choose and arrange surgical tools, supplies, and equipment during surgery. Scrub techs are the first team members to scrub in and give sponges, dressings, and instruments to the doctor as needed during the procedure. You may also provide business support to the department including assigned administrative tasks.
Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift: Three12-hour shifts/week. Hours are 7pm-7:30am. Weekend rotations are required in this role. Enjoy a flat rate $1.50/hour weekend shift differential and a $5 night shift differential when applicable.

This position selects and places surgical instruments, supplies and equipment during surgery. Scrubs and provides instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies during surgical procedure.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge and current basic life support certification. Where applicable must be registered with State Regulatory Agency The position requires manual dexterity and the ability to maintain professional decorum in highly stressful emergent situations. The position requires the ability to be conscientious, organized, and orderly and the ability to respond quickly to the needs of the surgeon and patient. Must stay abreast of new developments in the field.
Graduation from a certified school of surgical technology or two years of operating room experience. Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
$23.16 - $34.74 / hour Banner Health is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted compensation range is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay Banner Health in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. This range is based on possible base salaries and does not include the value of our total rewards package. Actual pay determined at offer will be based on years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location, along with a review of current employees in similar roles to ensure pay equity is achieved and maintained.
