Job summary

Advanced Surgical Care of Clearwater is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. The CST will scrub for procedures, maintain a sterile field, and prepare supplies, ensuring smooth operations and patient safety.

We value teamwork and clear communication with physicians and staff. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $7,500, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, disability and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Surgical Technician program.
• CST certification required.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Ortho and/or ENT experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field.

Advanced Surgical Care of Clearwater is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Surgical Technologist (CST)

The Certified Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• completion of a Surgical Technician Program
• CST required
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Experienced in Ortho and/or ENT highly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians
