Job description

The Surgical Technician / Tissue Processing Technician is responsible for the sterilization of surgical equipment, arranging surgical tools, and ensuring their proper functioning.

Requirements:

  • Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per state and/or client requirements
  • One year of experience as a Surgical Technician preferred (Tissue Processing Technologist only)
  • Degree in a biology-related field, including certification as a Surgical Technologist, preferred
  • Current CPR certification, if applicable
  • Current health certificate, per contract or state regulation
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
