Responsibilities

• Prepares the surgical suite, ensuring environmental safety for the patient and personnel.
• Demonstrates aseptic technique and maintains a neat, organized sterile field.
• Labels medications and solutions on the surgical field.
• Returns instruments for decontamination and manages supplies.
• Stocks sub sterile rooms and retrieves supplies for the next day.
• Maintains confidentiality of medical, financial, and employee information.
• Demonstrates service-oriented communication and professionalism.
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments and assists with inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Adheres to policies, safeguards university assets.
