Job summary

Jefferson Regional Medical Center is looking for a Surgical Technician in Pine Bluff, AR. You will prepare the operating room for surgeries and assist surgeons by passing instruments and managing surgical supplies. This role is key in maintaining a sterile environment to prevent infections.

The ideal candidate should have a High School diploma, a Technical Diploma in Surgical Technology, and preferably be a Certified Surgical Technologist. Competitive health plans and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program required.
• BLS/CPR required upon hire or obtain prior to patient care.
• Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with surgical instruments and sterile drapes.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and managing supplies.
• Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infections.
