Job summary

Norton Healthcare is seeking a Surgical Technician or Senior Surgical Technician to support operating rooms with precise instrument handling, patient monitoring, and compassionate care that aligns with the hospital's commitment to the community. You will prepare and pass instruments, anticipate needs, and collaborate with the surgical team to maintain safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1-year surgical tech experience OR completion of a surgical tech program (Diploma) OR successful completion of a surgical tech apprentice program.

Surgical Tech Required

• 1-year surgical tech experience OR completion of a surgical tech program (Diploma) OR successful completion of a surgical tech apprentice program

Senior. Surgical Tech Required

• Three years as a Surgical Technician
• Diploma OR three years of surgical tech experience OR successful completion of a Surgical Tech Apprentice Program
• One of: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA), Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C), Certified Operating Room and Surgical Technician (CORST), or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA).
