Job summary

Providence in Issaquah, WA is seeking a Surgical Technologist to facilitate the surgical procedure by assembling instrumentation, equipment and supplies. You will work as part of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse, alongside the surgeon, anesthesiologist and other support staff to deliver patient care aligned with our mission.

This role offers a $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates and a comprehensive benefits package that starts on day one.

Qualifications

• Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or documentation of equivalent training.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

The Surgical Technologist (ST) is responsible for facilitating the surgical procedure through the assembly of instrumentation, equipment and supplies. The Surgical Technologist work as a member of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse, with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical support personnel to provide patient care in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the Surgical Services department and Swedish Medical Center.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or documentation of equivalent training.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months of Experience in a hospital operating room.
