Face2Face Maxillofacial Surgery Centre is hiring a Surgical Technician to support surgeons during consultations and procedures. You will seat patients, monitor vitals, and help ensure pre- and post-operative care aligns with best practices.

You will provide clear instructions to patients, obtain necessary clearances, and uphold OSHA and radiation safety standards. Maintain precise records, prepare instruments, and contribute to a positive patient experience in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifikationen

• Must have previous oral surgery experience.
• CPR Certification required.
• Oral and Maxillofacial Assisting or Dental Assistant Certification preferred.
• Hepatitis B vaccination & TB vaccination & titer may be required.

Aufgaben

• Surgical Support: Assist the doctor during surgeries, seat patients, and take vitals; maintain competency in anesthesia monitoring and ensure forms are completed.
• Patient Care Expert: Provide pre-operative and post-operative instructions; obtain medical clearances and maintain patient care standards.
• Compliance and Safety Adherence: Follow OSHA and regulatory guidelines; ensure radiation protection and proper radiographic exposure techniques.
• Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate records/charting in line with standards.
• Equipment and Instrument Maintenance: Prepare and maintain clinical equipment and instruments for procedures.
• Interpersonal Relations: Maintain good rapport with patients, doctors, and team members; help resolve conflicts.
• Confidentiality and Professionalism: Protect patient and clinic information; discuss sensitive information only with appropriate personnel.
• Patient Experience Enhancement: Ensure a high-quality patient experience and comfort throughout visits.
• Adaptability and Flexibility: Take on special projects and adjust to a dynamic work environment.
