Job summary

Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is seeking a Surgical Technician to join a respected dermatology practice known for exceptional patient care. You will assist physicians, maintain medical records, review history, obtain consents, and coordinate procedures with a patient-first approach.

The ideal candidate holds current Certified Surgical Tech credentials, dermatology and surgical experience, CPR certification, and strong sterile technique.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Tech with dermatology experience.
• Current CPR certification, sterile technique proficiency.
• Knowledge of vital signs and medical terminology.
• Computer literacy and team-based patient care.
• Willingness to travel to up to eight locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in delivering quality care to patients.
• Maintain patients' medical records and review history.
• Obtain appropriate consents and schedule surgeries.
• Call in prescriptions and perform patient callbacks.
• Obtain pre-authorizations as needed.

Duties include:

• Assisting physician in providing quality care to patients
• Maintain patients' medical records
• Review medical history
• Obtain appropriate consents
• Call in prescriptions
• Perform patient call backs
• Schedule Surgeries
• Obtain Pre-Authorizations

Requirements include:

• MUST BE A CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH
• At least one year of Dermatology experience
• Surgical Experience REQUIRED
• Cosmetic and Plastic Surgical Experience PREFERRED
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of vital signs is required
• Working knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile technique
• Must have knowledge of medical terminology and be computer literate
• Must be a team player and dedicated to patient care
• Must be available to travel up to 8 locations with the Provider, mileage is included!
