Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a passionate Surgical Technologist to join our OR team. The role involves scrubbing and assisting within the sterile field across multiple surgical specialties, ensuring proper instrument and equipment maintenance, and applying knowledge of implants and supplies used in the operating room.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an ST program with CST certification or documented performance in the role.
• Must obtain BLS certification within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist within the sterile field during operative procedures.
• Support maintenance of surgical instrumentation and equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of implants, supplies, and instruments used in the OR.
• Work under supervision and in high-pressure situations with tact and endurance.
