Job summary

Providence Redwood Memorial Hospital in Fortuna, CA is seeking a Surgical Technician for a full-time, day-shift role. You will perform advanced surgical technologist duties under supervision of the Director of Surgical Services, maintaining equipment, assisting with case flow and assuring cost containment.

The position requires completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program, national certification, BLS, and 5 years of experience in a major service area such as ortho or trauma.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program within 1 year of employment.
• Upon hire: National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 5 years of experience in a major service area (i.e. ortho, neuro, trauma, cardiac).

Surgical Technician at Providence Redwood Memorial Hospital in Fortuna, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts.

Under the general direction of the Director of Surgical Services or Obstetrics, the Surgical Technologist performs advanced skills of the Surgical Tech I and is responsible for maintenance of equipment and systems, room turnover, case flow, cost containment and financial reimbursement.

Pay Range

$35.90 - $45.93

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
