Henry Ford Health is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the Endoscopy department at our Detroit-area Moross Road campus. The role features 40-hour weeks with 10-hour day shifts and rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call requirements.

You will assist with cleaning endoscopes, handling supplies, and supporting nursing staff to ensure safe procedure rooms. Endoscopy experience is preferred and BCLS certification is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow policies for cleaning, waste disposal, and supply management.
• Physical ability to assist with patient positioning, lifting and moving.
• Experience in OR ICU or Surgical/procedural areas preferred.
• BCLS certification is required or preferred.

Responsabilités

• Transport case carts, equipment and supplies; dispose of hazardous waste per policy.
• Monitor and maintain supply inventories to keep par levels.

• Transport case carts, equipment, and supplies, and dispose of hazardous waste according to established policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain supply inventories to ensure appropriate par levels are consistently met.
• Provide physical assistance for patient positioning, lifting, and moving as directed by clinical nursing staff.
