  • Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region’s Level II Trauma and tertiary care center and home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group and Portneuf Air Rescue.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation, disbursement of surgical supplies, equipment, and instrumentation – pre, intra, and post-operatively
  • Demonstrate knowledge of principles of asepsis
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the standards of AORN guidelines
  • Assume responsibility for clinical competence and professional development
  • Participate in the responsible management of all departmental resources
  • Take call as required by the department
  • Maintain competenciesin main OR as well as the CVOR

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Graduated from an accredited Surgical Technologist program or Certified Surgical Technologist
  • Current BLS Certification
