Position Overview:

As a Surgical Technician, CST at MercyOne, you will function in the scrub role during intraoperative patient care, performing delegated technical functions under the direct supervision of the perioperative Registered Nurse. Your care will adhere to established standards and support the philosophies of Genesis Medical Center.

Position Details:

Title: Surgical Technician, CST

Department: Operating Room

Schedule:

• Day Shift (10am-6:30pm)
• Part-Time .8 (32 hours per week)

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensure/Registration: CST-Certified Surgical Technologist within 18 months of hire
• Special Training: Basic Life Support
• No prior experience required

Education:

• Associate's degree or satisfactory completion of a military course in surgical technology
• Field of Study: Surgical Technology
