Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Stroudsburg, PA seeks a Certified Surgical Technician for the Operating Room on a per diem, part-time basis. You will assist with sterile setup, instrument handling, and passing items to the surgeon.

Stand for up to 8 hours per day; possibly 6 hours at a time. Walk up to 8-10 hours per day; up to 2 hours at a time. Continuously required to use manual dexterity for handling and twisting/turning. Consistently lift and carry objects up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds; frequently push objects up to 100+ pounds (i.e., camera carts, microphones, storage carts, etc.). Frequently stoop and bend. Frequently reach above shoulder level. Must have the ability to move and respond quickly. Must be able to hear as it relates to normal conversation, high and low frequencies. Must be able to see as it relates to general, near, far, color, and peripheral vision. Depth perception necessary.
