Job summary

Regional Health Services of Howard County is seeking a skilled Surgical Tech for PRN assignments in Cresco, IA. You will assist with surgical procedures under RN supervision, support therapeutic and emergency patient care, and help prepare, operate, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.

The ideal candidate has a surgical tech program or 5+ years in OR/Central Sterile, good computer skills, and strong communication with compassion under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a surgical tech program or minimum of 5 years equivalent work experience in the operating room and Central Sterile.
• Certification from surgical tech training program preferred.
• Computer skills
• Strong communication skills. Ability to follow instruction under pressure, show compassion and empathy.
